Happy New Year to all

A little late being issued this time due to work and other things but here it is at last.

Please read through this newsletter because it is full of information for the up and coming months.

The Christmas party was another success this year and well attended again. The staff were very good and helpful and the food was up to the usual high standard. Thanks to all that attended.

Well done to all that helped in raising money from the supermarket collections. The collections were held at Tesco store Halifax road which raised £710.

More help is needed for collections at the tesco store in cleckheaton on the 7 and 8th march and also at Sainsbury’s on Saturday 25th march. If you can help with any of these collections please contact a member of the committee.

Big night out

This years big night out will be held on April 11th at the East Bowling Unity Club, running from 8pm to 11pm

A full nights entertainment is planned with Tony lord, Tony Marco, Jet Sommers, Carolyne, and whoever else I can squeeze into the fun packed night. There will also be raffles, (feel free to fetch in something for the raffle), domino cards etc.

Please feel free to bring a friend or two, the more the merrier.

The ticket entry cost will be £1.00

Resource center

At the moment we are unable to carry out any further work on the bradford resource center. We have had a meeting with members from the national center and regional office and they don’t think we are in a possition to take on a project such as this just yet. A lot of work has gone into the center over the last 4 or 5 years, most of it by Mr Fisher but it now seems ito have been a waste of time.

Summer outing

We are hoping to arrange the summer outing for July 8th at Millstones again this year. Please watch future issues for further information.

T-shirt competition (Last chance)

Please note that there has been very little interest in entering this competition. We have only received 3 entries up till now.

There will be a £50 prize for the best entry and the possibility of your design being used on our branch t-shirts which will celebrate our 50th year.

Annual subs

Please note that subs for 2006 are now due. Please contact the Secretary with your payments.

Thank you.
